Conor McGregor and David August for The New York Times

Over the last six months, I’ve focused on pursuing “energy”, meeting people at the top of their fields who are inspiring and driving style, progress and growth in their own unique ways.

I got an email from the NY Times asking if I was available to photograph Conor McGregor and fashion designer David August. The next day, there I was in McGregor’s living room with his girlfriend, 3-month-old Conor Jr. and Mr. August.

Almost two hours later when I left his house I knew I had captured something special. I could have never expected that one photo, in particular, would hit with such a splash.  “Boss Baby” went viral with well over 2.5 million likes on Conor’s page alone.

The NY Times followed up with a second story this week featuring, even more, photos from the story. Check it out here.
